DESCRIPTION

Halisi Africa Tours invite you to take advantage of this unique opportunity for people of African descent to explore their heritage in the amazing country of Tanzania.

Beginning on the island of Zanzibar, off the east coast of Africa and traveling to the foothills of the largest freestanding mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro, you will discover a place like no other. On this epic journey, you will discover ancient cultures, witness a migration in the Serengeti, take a guided tour through waterfalls and mountain forest of Mount Kilimanjaro and witness the mining of a gem stone rarer and more beautiful than diamonds. Even more, these amazing experiences will give you plenty of opportunities to practice Kiswahili (we give you a Kiswahili prep course for free!) with guides and tour operators who were born and raised in Tanzania. Who better to share real stories of African heritage and help you become familiar with the country’s history and current state?
