It is our mission to create opportunities for African descendants to live and study on the African continent. Our study abroad experiences are designed with accredited courses in language and anthropology, volunteer opportunities, and cultural exchanges. We include accommodations in dorms and with host families, homecooked meals and upscale restaurant dining, tours of modern cities and more traditional rural housing, all in order to provide a full and comprehensive view of the motherland. All of our experiences come complete with a rites of passage ceremony to welcome our participants home at long last.

Mji Mkongwe (Stone Town) Zanzibar is a living world heritage site. As the capital of this East African Island Chain, Old Stone Town represents the peak of Swahili culture. Along with visits to historical sites and tours of mainland Tanzania, our study abroad experience is designed to create real opportunities to interact and build relationships with locals. We'll share meals with families, volunteer with the kids at Fat-Hi International Community School, and celebrate your Rites of Passage ceremony.

Morocco is a country with a unique history as the bridge between Europe, Africa, and the Arab world. Rabat, the capital, sits on the northwest coast facing the Atlantic while inland Morocco hosts the Amazigh tribes, as well as the Atlas mountains and the Sahara Desert. Along with visits to historical sites and tours of Morocco, our study abroad experience is designed to create real opportunities to interact and build relationships with locals. We'll share meals with families, volunteer with the school, and celebrate your Rites of Passage ceremony.
